Dianna Hewitt Ladd has been a Licensed Attorney in the State of Arkansas since 2001. Since then, she has served as the Prosecuting Attorney for several South Sebastian and Scott County cities and she has extensive experience in Municipal Law. She was the City Attorney for Waldron for approximately 12 years and has been the City Attorney for Huntington since 2007. While working for the City of Waldron, she frequently served as Special Judge.
Dianna is an experienced litigator and her private practice includes Family Law cases, such as Child Custody, Divorce, Grandparent’s Rights, Adoption, Guardianship, Juvenile and Probate. Her practice also includes Employment Discrimination, Personal Injury, Breach of Contract, Business Law, and Social Security Disability claims. Dianna’s extensive experience in the criminal and civil legal field has enabled her to help hundreds, if not thousands, of people.
Dianna grew up in Charleston, Arkansas, and graduated from high school in 1986. After high school, she attended John Brown University in Siloam Springs and graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. While studying at John Brown University, she was on the Dean’s and President’s Academic Lists. She later earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law at Fayetteville in 2000. During law school, Dianna received an award for Best Oral Advocate. She also spent over 100 hours researching the effects of divorce on children and how to mitigate them.
Dianna worked to put herself through college and then Law School, at times working two jobs while also maintaining her studies. She has worked in the legal field since 1995.
When not working as an advocate for others or volunteering for the community, Dianna enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeff, and their two boys, Reece and Knox. They enjoy their time together at home in Fort Smith, or at Ouachita Lake where they love to swim, fish and explore the Ouachita Mountains. Jeff grew up in Fort Smith and works for Kerry Ingredients where he is a Senior Account Manager. Their Christian Faith is important to them and they attend church at Community Bible Church in Fort Smith.
